Your opinion about politics is awesome. I wish more people had that attitude, because I'm starting to believe that the only reason politicians run for office is because they want attention. If everybody didn't give a shit about politics, these boneheads wouldn't run for office because they would be nobodies(They'd probably just switch to reality shows or something).

Exactly. It's a popularity contest. I only voted once, and that was in the last presidential election. And the only reason I voted was because I didn't want George Bush to win. But alot of good that did. So I see not point in bothering anymore. Since they are mostly just a bunch of crooks.

I voted or Jesse Ventura when he was running for governor here, and don't regret it at all. I thought he was awesome, he pretty much showed everyone in MN just how nonessential so many political postions in our government are. The newspapers and TV stations just trashed him to get ratings, and everyone jumped on that bandwagon. I still have a shirt with a picture of Jesse on it that says "10,000 lakes, one navy seal" and I wear it all the time just to see the looks it gets.

Jesse rocks. I would vote for him too. Just because he's not afraid to wear a feather boa. :o)
