Where I am from, the seasons were not quite as distinctive as they are on Earth, and our “summer” was not much of a cause for rest or relaxation. While on Earth, I did enjoy visiting the beach, however.

Mostly that it was quiet. I was not used to being surrounded by so very much water, so I suppose there is some level of novelty in that, also.

The circus is horrible. Abusing animals like that. They should be banned and jailed!

I don't think all circuses are exactly like this one, but the ones that do definitely should be.

All circuses are. The animals need to be left alone to live how they want, not used and yelled at to do tricks for people. They are not entertainment.

Well, I lived in California. What else would I do during the summer?

My thoughts exactly----but I've heard good things about the redwood forest, right---northern California though I think...maybe...I'd have to double check.

Depends which hemisphere we're talking about. Summer at home was always about the beach; summer in New Jersey is more often about getting the hell out of New Jersey. Snowboarding holiday, maybe, get some decent cold weather.

More fun than New Jersey, I would imagine, but I get the feeling that that's not something to be impressed by. Is it really that bad?

I don't think I've ever heard anyone say anything good about New Jersey...ever.

I don't like the hot weather, in general anyway, so fall is nice, not too cold but not sweltering either.
