Professor McGonagall, Good evening, Professor. I agree that Miss Brown performed splendidly under the situation. I do not know if I believe the entire afternoon went well, however, as the Minister had some choice words for me when we were alone before he left. As you have correctly guessed, he still wants her to continue with her Seer sessions, which would obviously keep her secluded from her classmates, only he would like to go further now that he believes her capable of increased power. According to the Minister, Miss Brown would apparently benefit from working directly in the Diviners' facility at the Ministry. Professor, I must admit this concerns me as I was not even aware of a place for such studies within our government buildings. I can only imagine what goes on there and what the Minister intends for Miss Brown to do.
The other matter brought up was partly because of
Miss Fawcett's fabulous timing but mostly because I had wrongly chosen to remain silent on the issue. Because the student responsible for the hexings in the school has not been caught yet, Minister Scrimgeour holds me personally responsible. I cannot deny this as I am the Safety Inspector but the Minister's ideas on how to rectify the situation are most, dare I say, unsatisfactory.
I cannot say more in a letter and I do believe it would be best if we could meet in two days' time. A lot has happened so quickly lately within the Ministry that much work must be done.
Safety Inspector,
Percy I. Weasley
