i spent all today producing music on my computer. my current inspiration is drawn from the productions of one james holden, who's main goal in production and management of his record label is to create and discover music that doesnt fit the strictly defined genres of trance. i have myself at times found these genres constricting and their effect ( Read more... )

fuking respect man
yesterday i messed on fruity for a while
recorded some samples and learning how to use x-y controllers and lots of the little things

mauro picotto is my new inspiration
he is like james holden and plays a mixmash of styles( though faster:D) and his productions are pretty fresh:)

werd up d00d... yer i need some vocal samples hey - get me that lets learn about water stuff :D
2 hints: start practising making good sounds with the generator plugins (ie simsynth,wasp,3x osc) and to make good sound fx just grab ne random sample and mess around with the stuff on the SMP menu - especially 'pogo' and the reverse button, and slap on some reverb/flanger/filter etc... enjoy ;)
yer i rekon i might get some picotto stuff... im having a chillout phase atm tho :S
