Oops, had no phone for past couple of weeks

I just noticed that the balance on my cell 'expired' a few weeks ago, so I apologize if anyone tried to contact me that way recently. I'm on a pay-as-you-go plan with Virgin Mobile, and apparently even if you top up by credit card they zero out the balance after a month or two (which can be extended if you give them more money ( Read more... )

Yeah. The $25 for 3 months is the sweet spot, and make sure you've got auto top-up turned on. They used to have that more explicit on their website, but now it looks like they've buried it in the FAQ.
