One of the books I will be reading very soon is called How To Stop Worrying and Start Living. I already know one of the author's advice is to "keep busy. The worried person must lose himself in action" Anyway Ill share with you some notes I take from it if you are interested!
Sure, that'd be cool... I think the main problem is needing to keep busy, my job ain't enough, it's hit and miss, leaving me too much time to overthink and over analyze...
Plus with things falling into place somewhat, I need to ensure it doesn't all crumble and fade again, through past expierience, I get about 3-4 years of peace, followed by a fucking hellstorm so it makes it extremely difficult to become comfortable with anything or anyone...
I know what you mean about the job giving you too much time to think even though I have lucked out with having lots to think about with these two jobs. Anyway, I would say that you are on a good start to problem solving just by knowing that you have too much time to overthink and analyse
Hmm I wonder if the book will cover the topic of kinda expecting things to go bad because of past experience/pattern. Anyway expect my notes in your inbox in the 2 to 3 weeks!
