Even in his insanity there were somethings he still stuck to, certain familiar routines. His exercising and training was definitely one of those routines. He'd be dead before he'd be out of shape.
He stood shirtless and blindfolded in the forest, by a small trickling stream, sword extended in front of him. Without his shirt you could definitely see how thin he'd become, able to see and count every rib he had. His eating and sleeping habits were still as deplorable as ever.
He was sweating lightly, and panting. Even this light workout living him more winded then usual. He had decided that maybe he needed to change his habits after all. The lack of food obviously not helping, but he hated dealing with those godforsaken townfolks.
Gojyo spotted him and couldn't help but think about the last time he came to this particular spot and Kanda was here. He missed moments like that. He wanted his Kanda back, and was willing to do just about anything to get him back to that state. He cared about him that much that he wouldn't give up on him. He couldn't help but feel pissed still, thinking that maybe this was a waste of time, but he didn't want to give up. He watched him and his movements, noticing how weak he had gotten. He knew he could easily have taken him out now due to how thin and frail he looked now. "Kanda..." He muttered under his breath.
He walked up closer to him now, more noticeable. He wanted him to see him, and wanted to see his reaction. There was a part of him that wanted to just pull out his Shakujo and finish him off for what he had done and all the emotional pain he caused him, but the other part wanted to hold him until he came back to him.
Kanda sensed someone approaching, even with his blindfold on he could sense the change in the air. He stopped his exercises quickly and pulled off the blindfold. "What the hell do you-"
He cut himself off staring in surprise, he hadn't expected Gojyo of all people. He tightened his grip on his sword and took a step to the side, getting almost defensive.
"Cockroach." He said tersely as a way of greeting.
"Sup?" Gojyo glared at him slightly but looked around. "Figured you'd be here," He started as he grabbed a cigarette. "After all, this place is pretty special, don't ya think?" He lit the cigarette up with a lighter and took a drag, looking at him still. He figured it didn't matter to Kanda, but he wanted to try to get to him.
