Who; Naminé, Demyx. What; Naminé finding Demyx. Where; Entertainment District. When; After he comes back to life...? Rating; Shouldn't get above G. IT'S NAMINÉ AND DEMYX.
His entire body felt as through it had fallen asleep and feeling was just now returning to it. An almost painful tingling sensation was washing over him at a dull rate. Maybe that was what had awakened the blonde enough to give him the awareness that he was... ... alive? A very faint groan escaped him. He muttered to himself in a groggy tone, as he lifted a slightly limp arm to put his hand to his forehead.
"Why... am I laying here...?" As he spoke the words, a very sharp pain shot through his head, causing him to flinch hard, "G-gah... my head..."
It took a lot more strength than usual just to turn his head and look around through squinted eyes.
"What... happened? I feel... ugh." A brief shudder ran through him, ".. like throwing up... I feel really sleepy, too. ... Wait. Why was I...? Is... that... that... whatever-it-is thing's power?!"
It was obvious that he was still somewhat in a daze.
Naminé froze. Could that really have been Demyx? She looked around, eyes wide. Her eyes fell on Demyx. Demyx, alive. Naminé ran to him, bending down close to him. It was really him. He hadn't gone home like she had feared, he was still here, but... He looked terrible.
After all, he had been killed in the worst way. For him, anyway.
"... D-Demyx?" Naminé whispered, reaching out to him.
The way Demyx reacted, one would assume Naminé had just made a motion to stab the Nobody.
His eyes widened and it was as though a little of his strength had returned. In one quick motion, Demyx was in a sitting position and scooting away from the blonde-haired girl, using both hands.
"Stay back!" He yelled in a slightly hoarse voice.
It was after distancing himself three or four feet, though, that Demyx realized something: that Naminé, of all people, would never hurt him... He instantly snapped a little out of the daze.
"...N-Nami... né?"
Unfortunately, this caused him to relaxed and, as a domino effect, ... his momentary adrenaline rush was gone. He was, once again, on his back. This time, it was with a thud.
That wasn't the reaction she was expecting. She should have known better; after all, Demyx had just... died.
"I-I'm sorry!" she said quickly, slightly alarmed. "Y-yes, it's--" Before Naminé could finish, Demyx had fallen. "Demyx!" She closed the distance between them and helped him up into a sitting position.
