Brown eyes continuously scanned the area for a familiar person as the teenager ran at high speed through the park. Hayner had allowed himself to become distracted with the town and the device, so now he had to make up for some of the lost time by running. Weaving through the crowds, the blonde frowned slightly. Were all of these people from other worlds? Hayner found that a little difficult to believe. Slowing to a job before finally coming to a stop, he let out a frustrated sigh. This entire situation was stupid, in his opinion. Of course, there was nothing that could be done about it, for now. He had decided that he would simply... go with it, until he figured something out. There was no reason to overstress himself, right
( ... )
Roxas pouted slightly as he kept looking around. All of these people were starting to bother him, and truthfully, he wasn’t that big a fan of crowds in the first place. When Hayner approached him, he smiled widely. “It’s ok! This place is huge!” he replied, making a move to step off the bench. But grace wasn’t anything he was exactly gifted with, so his foot caught on the bench and Roxas started falling face first to the ground.
His eyes widened as the other began to fall. He instantly acted on instinct, rushing forward to catch the other. Fortunately, he was quick enough. However, he was still just a boy (and gravity was still a formidable foe), so the weight of the other knocked Hayner backwards onto the ground.
After landing on his bottom, Hayner let out a sigh-like groan before frowning at Roxas. If that had not been... slightly adorable, Hayner would have pointed out how much of a klutz Roxas could be. Actually, he decided to do that, anyway. The fact that Hayner was laughing, took out any sort of anger from the words, though.
Roxas grumbled as he sat up, knowing the words were all too true. “Yeah yeah…” He quickly scrambled off of his friend when he realized he’d been sitting on his knees, and offered his hand to help Hayner up. He was smiling again, feeling a bit grateful he’d been caught. There was no way he was going to get himself hurt if he could help it.
“How do you like the town? Kinda reminds you of back home, right?”

"Geez, Roxas! You're such a klutz!"
