Personality:
Lelouch has many many sides to his personality. Partially because he is a liar down to his very core. Everything about him is fake. He doesn’t allow for anyone to really see his true face.
The first is the school boy, Lelouch Lamperouge. This particular facet of Lulu is the life he lived before geass and during the time that which his memories were not quite his own. As a student of Ashford Academy, Lelouch is a seemingly lazy student. Many times he will go off and gamble (through playing chess) instead of attending classes. In fact, he skips a lot of classes just in general. He is on the Student Council and is quite active within it. He is friendly to some, but close to no one. No one really knows of his past and he has no intention of telling anyone about it. Lulu is content to help and aid Milly on her various escapades with school functions, but he tends to stick in the shadows. It appears he would rather help run it than be in the spotlight. He doesn’t seem to care too much about politics or have his own opinion about anything. Lulu doesn’t seem to have much of a fire or compassion about anything at all. He is also a protective and caring older brother (doesn’t matter if it is Rolo or Nunally).
Yet there are things that infuriate him. He must be organized and if anything is out of place, he must fix it. Lelouch is also capable of many different things such as cooking, sewing, and even basic chemistry. He has plans and back up plans while directing school events, going so far as to give them color codes too. Lelouch also dislikes a lot of Milly’s little events, often exasperated during participation. He is easily flustered and riled if his strings are pulled just right. He might be called a good housewife because he certainly acts like one from time to time: cutting hair, laundry, cleaning, and even keeping a book about expenses.
Which is the complete opposite of Zero, the other mask that Lelouch wears. Zero is a very passionate being and very grandiose. A lot of what Zero does must be big and dramatic. He actually cares about protecting the weak and being just. Zero makes outrageous claims and is overall a very charismatic leader for the Black Knights and their fight to liberate Japan. Lulu as Zero is on the front lines, in front of the cameras, and even giving direction to everyone. He is a symbol, more than just a man in a mask, while he is Zero. No one is a pawn. No one is expendable. Everyone is needed. Zero will, however, do whatever he deems necessary to get the final result: liberation of Japan. Even if this means discretely sacrificing lives or twisting events in his favor… Even if it means lying to everyone else. Though he sort of answers to no one, opting to keep everyone in his organization in the dark. However, he does not hog all the power to himself. He is a smart person who puts other people with particular strengths in charge of their respective facet.
Yet then there is Lelouch vi Britannia, the 99th emperor of the Holy Britannia Empire. Lelouch, at this point, uses his geass to the full extend. He is a heartless dictator, commanding everyone through the use of his geass. Lelouch is tyrannical, not caring who lives and who lives. People are just pawns on a chessboard in order for him to obtain power. Lelouch is a power thirsty person and desires to conqueror the world. This is his true intention, though he does do random acts that cause confusion at first for the Black Knights and the rest of the world. He comes off as being generous, disbanding the nobles and even giving Japan liberation. However Lulu ignores and pretends the people that were his friends are nothing to him, looking the other way as if he doesn’t know them. He does the things that he always vowed not to do (such as using his geass on Nunally and actually fighting against her) and nothing his below him.
Lelouch, at the heart of everything, is an angry boy. He is angry at his father for the death of his mother. He is angry at his mother for being deceptive. Lulu is angry that Britannia destroyed Japan. Lelouch is full of anger, vengeance, and hurt. He is really a loving person and guilt for what all he has done weighs heavy on his shoulders. Lelouch actually does have issues putting people he cares about in harms way. Lulu says in the series he will fight evil with evil and becomes that necessary evil. The only person on his mind is his sister, Nunally. However, this changes later in the series. He realizes that he cannot just do this for the world that Nunally wanted, but that he must do so because everyone in the world deserves peace. Lulu does not believe that it cannot be obtained without bloodshed. However, he believes that if one person, one name, becomes the evil that everyone wants to be rid of, peace can really be obtained. It’s easier to remember one man instead of a system. Lelouch looks to the future and everything he does, therefore, is for the future.
Strengths:
The first strength Lelouch is known for is his intelligence. He isn't just smart, but a genius. In canon, it states that Lelouch has near seventeen different thought processes and keep track of all of them. Some are meant for diversion tactics for mind readers, but also house his thinking process. In a sense, Lelouch can multitask like no one can. Just ask anyone who has ever played a game of chess with him. He thinks in advance. Way in advance. The guy runs a rebellion for a good year without really being traced. All from his school life. Yet he can maintain a semblance of a social life as well as make time for his little sister. He can hack the media and various other means of technology. Scramble signals too. His Zero attire actually has a little device to make his voice untraceable and he also carries either two cell phones or has a little transmitter to plug in to hide his whereabouts. Lelouch is constantly prepared for just about any outcome.
So he also has some serious stealth and organization skills too. Not a lot of things can shake him either. He's pretty good at acting. After all... He manages to fool the world into thinking he is a villain.
Lelouch, despite his outward personality, is really quite passionate. His heart, later in the series, is actually for the people. For what is better for society and mankind as a whole. So, in a sense, a strength of his is that he really does care, despite appearances. The whole reason he started the rebellion was for his sister's sake. Even Zero Requiem was designed for Nunnally and Euphemia in mind. In fact, Euphemia is a driving force in his desire to be a tyrant. He wished to erase her name from history and write his own in. However, he is also very charasmatic and draws the crowds in. This is evident with being able to get so many people to join the Black Knights. Many of them are loyal due to his persona as Zero.
Other than that, he is quite the little house wife. No, really. Lelouch can cook, clean, sew, and cut hair. These are all necessary things to be able to do when taking care of a disabled sister. There is a scene of Lelouch cutting Rolo's hair. Even Milly acknowledges Lelouch in the kitchen, forcing him into an apron to cook for them. Apparently he is the only one with a sense of taste.
He is also pretty damn attractive in a dress.
Weaknesses:
Nunnally. It might be odd to think of a person as a weakness, but she really is. Where Nunners is concerned, Lelouch will do anything. When she is thought dead in the series, he just mentally collapses. She is everything to him. His reason. Without her, he sees no reason to go on and to move forward until Kallen and Rolo talk some sense into him. Barely. The thought of her hating him is just unbearable. Lelouch gets very flustered and unpredictable in his emotions where she is concerned. He goes into a blind rage when Rolo talks to him again after the missile fires. Not to mention, he is horribly overprotective of her, even feeling a bit irritated at the thought of Suzaku, his best friend, being her escort.
His sense of morality can also mess him up. Lelouch has no real sense of right and wrong anymore. All that really matters is if the ends justify the means. That, of course, would imply that he is all right with everything he does. He really isn't. Lelouch genuinely feels guilty about some of the actions that he has had to take in the course of his life in order to make everything better. However, he would not change it. What happened is in the past and there is no changing it. It's merely that if Lelouch finds killing someone to his benefit, then he will. No questions asked. If someone is useful, he will attempt to do what he can to make them his pawn. Human sacrifices through the means of war doesn't even phase him. This can get him into quite a bit of trouble if not managed well.
Lelouch's last and greatest weakness falls in one category: stamina. He has none. Running is a sure-fire way of putting an end to him. Lelouch can't even run for more than a couple of yards without getting tired. A girl in a Victorian style dress can outrun him.

First Person:
[Taps on his chin in thought.]
It's apparent that this journal is a means of communication. That being the case, I wonder if someone might be able to answer a few questions.
[Also thinking about this entire mess. Supposed to be dead... Shouldn't be alive.]
I refuse to think that there is a place such as Heaven of Hell. That notion is just simply ridiculous! Forget the fact that I hardly believe that there is a God out there.
[Not to mention the fact that Lelouch is pretty sure he wouldn't be entering the pearly Gates. Far too evil of a person for that. Just stares at the book for a moment. Shaky. No idea what's going on here. Why...]
Third Person:
A groan escaped his lips as his conscious mind came to. Violet eyes slowly opened and another hiss hit his ears. It was so bright. Lelouch didn't realize that being dead meant he needed to shield his eyes. There wasn't supposed to be anything after death, or rather that was the belief that he upheld. Yet here he was, using his arm to shade his eyes, attempting to get his bearings. Lelouch was disoriented, until a breeze whips across his skin. It elicited a shudder that shook his entire frame and did more to sober him up than what he thought possible at the moment. His eyes shot wide, the haze clearing. Immediately he sat up, regretting the speed at which he did so. His head hurt and he pressed a palm to his forehead to soothe over the throbbing.
It was cold, and not the kind that Lelouch remembered upon his death. This was an actual physical cold, and he could feel the goosebumps emerging on his skin. Below his other hand was cool and wet. Lelouch recognized this as snow. He was... Alive? The former emperor drew his hand away from his head, looking at it. That was when he noticed a single, violet feather fall into his lap. Lelouch looked over his shoulder to see where that could have come from. Another shock hit hit as he realized he had wings. Violet wings. An angel...? That was just simply ridiculous! Was he alive or dead!?
"That's not... Possible."
Yet his heart was beating. His pulse was racing. Lelouch felt every little sensation of snowflakes hitting his skin and melting. This was not something one experienced when dead or in the process of death. He remembered quite vividly the fact that Suzaku had been standing in front of him. Everything had been going accordingly, just as he predicted it would be. Lelouch was staring his impending death and fall right in the face, so to speak. His body recalled the pain of the sword that he had crafted piercing his chest cavity, the numbness sweeping his senses as his organs began to shut down, and also the feeling of everything going dark and voices growing dim. In the back of his heart, he had felt peace. Justice.
Where was the justice in this? Lelouch wasn't able to come up with a reason as to why he was alive at all. Another moment was all that it took for him to realize that he wasn't even wearing his blood stained clothing. No wonder he was absolutely freezing. This cloth was barely enough to cover all the needed parts! Lelouch searched his surroundings, noting that it was a forest. The snow was starting to come down hard and the temperature was falling fast. Even with all the other thoughts and conflicting feelings going on in his head, Lelouch knew that this wasn't good. Perhaps seeking out shelter until this stormed passed would be more prudent. Then, when all was settled, he could start asking questions about just what the hell was going on. Lelouch was so lost and confused. There was a book lying next to him. Did someone mean for him to have it?
Best take it with him, he thought to himself. He rose to his feet, slightly shaky. Lelouch had to be quick. He, as frail as he is, wouldn't be able to withstand this blizzard as long as some. While walking in some direction (he didn't know what way to go, after all), he started to look through the book. It was... Interesting to say the least.
"Perhaps I could use this to my advantage," he muttered through chattering teeth.
