Out of the two of them, Tifa was happier to look over her shoulder and see Rude. He was a man of very few words and even though he worked for Shinra, he happened to be the least annoying of them all. It didn't make her happy to see him by any means, but... he was a familiar face.
"Ah." That was the only reply she could muster up. "What brings you out here? And without your partner, no less?"

He adjusted his tie and, for lack of a better place to direct his attention, looked out over the plain. "...you?"

As an answer to his question, she gave a small shrug of her shoulders accompanied by a sigh. "I feel like I can actually clear my mind here." For some reason, it was much easier to be pleasant to Rude than Reno. Reno seemed to dig under her skin for some reason and every time he opened his mouth, she knew there was going to be a feeling to punch his lights out. Rufus tried to have her executed on public television, so the mere mentioning of his name made her blood boil. Elena wasn't too bad, she supposed, but the rest of the Turks she definitely could've lived without.
"And I suppose I'm doing recon as well."

"I... see." He paused, tipped his head to one side in a gesture of agreement. "It's a good place for both."
More words than he'd spoken - outloud, to anyone that wasn't a Turk - in quite a while. Reno might have tucked his shirt in in absolute shock.
