Swirling ice, droplets falling on it’s sides.

Sullen face, blank eyes.
“You are going to the airport to say goodbye, right?”
A quick nod, slow sigh.
“Jae, don’t be mad, it’s an opportunity I can’t just push aside.”
Pursed lips, lasting quiet.
“Please don’t make this difficult, Jae.”
Faraway stare, voiceless defiance.
“Jaejoong, look at me.”
Softened face, smile vibrant.
“When I come back, you’ll be the first face I’ll look for.”
Airy laugh, comfortable silence.
“I’m going to miss you so much.”
Flushed cheeks, hands intertwining.
“Wait for me.”

Worried mind, sick feeling.
“Things like this happen; it’s not your fault.”
Heavy anxiety, stomach reeling.
“How were you supposed to know that an earthquake was going to hit today?”
Back and forth pacing, hands trembling.
“Jaejoong, you've gotta stop worrying so much. He’s going to be alright.”
News television, website refreshing.
“He’s okay Jae, stop overreacting...”
Special bulletin, heart wrenching.
“Oh my god.”
Weak knees, too many questions.
Too many questions.
