I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks she went a little too far with this one.....besides, A) when has she ever really known me? I mean if she did, would there even be a wedding? and B) I'm trying to make everything as simple as possible so the stress level wouldn't be as high.

Dude, I would have done the same thing you did. I agree with Tiff - I think the stress was getting to your mom. You couldn't help the fact that you were sick, and you were appreciative of everything that she did. I think she went a wee bit overboard...honestly, an insult? But yah, you didn't do anything wrong. :)

Thanks for confirming that I'm not totally insane! It definitely makes me feel better. The only question now is, do I confront her about her insane accusations?
