Hey. I haven't really updated in here in awhile. I was updating blurty for a little while which I don't think anyone knew or cares about other than a few. I guess it was more comfortable updating in there since no one but a few really read it. Anyways, I haven't really been up to much. School is alright. I only have 5 classes but I don't really ( Read more... )

you should hate that fucking guy, anyone who goes to a school and tries to get people to vote for the person he is voting for, should fucking shoot himself.

If he should shoot himself...Then so should Fat Mike and Nofx, Greenday, Anti-Flag, Matt Skiba, The Offspring, all the Punkvoter.com people and the bands on the Rock Against Bush CD, and so many other people.

Because they come to public schools and... wait... no they don't.

Punkvoter is stupid. I know that, we all know that.

too bad in a school situation, someone cant exactly get up and walk away from the propaghanda that people spout off. you HAVE to be there.

on the other hand, people who dont want to hear it from a rock against bush cd can just not buy it. people who dont want to hear it from a tv show, can turn it off. people who dont want to watch an antibush movie can just choose not to see it.

there is a proper time and place to discuss political views and to campaign for a certain candidate. however, in a public school where MY tax dollars and also my parents' are being spent, people have EVERY right to consider this marine's behavior unacceptable.

there is no way that this guy should have been let in to tell his testimonial of patriotic duty blah blah blah, and plug for bush.

thats crap.

brian and wes have every reason to think that guy is a dick.

"Oh, shut the fuck up. All you did was fucking fill out a form and get shipped to fucking boot camp. I wanna be a musician. I'm sure all I do is just fill out a simple little form and I immediately get signed to Geffen. Fuck you."

best thing you have ever said. hahahaha

The guy may be an asshole, but you don't just sign up and become a Marine. -shrugs- It's just not that simple. Doing something like that is much more physically and mentally demanding than probably anything you or I will ever experience. I just don't think that being a soldier is something to be mocked.

Also, I have to agree with the anonymous comment. So the guy came and plugged for Bush - big deal. You want to get away from that? Stop watching television, reading magazines, listening to the radio, and going outside at all and you might, you just might escape the large part of propaganda from both sides that is virtually everywhere. People make CDs about how much they hate Bush, people do concert tours based on the fact that they want Bush out of office, and people show up in schools and talk about how they're voting for Bush. That's the way it is, and you can't condemn one side without condemning both.

actually.. you do just sign up and become a marine.. and they then send you off to boot camp, and then you go on to higher training after that. but that's basically all you do. I have insider info on that sort of thing. ha.. unfortunetly... meh.

and to brian-. hi. I miss you too. sigh. well. yeah. kbyes. <33333.

I would be equally annoyed if some guy came in and plugged for Kerry, or anyone really. The majority of the kids in the class have not learned enough to make a valid opinion on a lot of things going on in this election. Considering they have only been in this government class a week, it seems a bit unfair to have a big Bush fan come in and tell a bunch of high school students how much kerry sucks. It's already swaying their opinions before they know anything.

If a Kerry fan came in also and the two had a debate, THAT would be an interesting and educational thing. I would support that 100%. But just having a Bush supporter come in and preach is really, really uncool and probably illegal.

Also, you really DO just sign up to be a marine. They've called my house 2 or 3 times in the past 2 months asking me to sign up and I'm not even 18 yet.

the military always calls me and is like, 'so what do you want to do when you grow up? oh well that's such a shitty choice for a career but you can do that 600000x better if you join the military!' it's like, 'way to convince me, guy.'

Next time they call you should tell them it's to join a terrorist orginization and kill American soldiers, or be a violent dictator, just for the response...

I think its important to remember that the thing were against is not the soldiers, but the war. A lot of those guys and girls have been seriously brian washed. They think they are fighting for our freedom over there. A lot of people over there it was their only chance to go to school, or even to make a living. Dont hate the playa hate the game.

Yeah, I know. But just hearing him talk about how proudly he fought and he wants to go fight is just ridiculous and I feel like I can hate him for that... cause I suck, I guess.
