Contrary to all that though I like chill music too (Jack Johnson, yes ♥) you should check out Cat Power, Tom Waits and Damien Rice.

OH! And you'd be surprised. I actually used to REALLY like MSI, and all those other punk bands like The Sex Pistols, Sham 69, The Buzzcocks, etc. My cousin got me really into them. And then I realized I'm not extreme enough to be punk so I mellowed out. (:

Hahahah. Well I think extremity's related to it.
For instance, a long time ago I was at a Chiodos concert with my cousin. (I don't know if you like them or not.) Everyone was screaming and mosh pits were everywhere and they're banging their heads.
I was that lonely kid standing outside of the circle for my own safety.
