I am very sad to hear this-- I understand, but I know I never remember/have time to read offsite blogs. I will very, very much miss reading your entries here.

WordPress is quite nice (no advertisements, and there are free "stats" and some image hosting). Although, for you, because you like to post broad photos, I would have one criticism. For some reason many of the layouts (which you are not able to customize much without purchasing the css upgrade) have a fixed width at 500 px. I had to scale down some of my posts/images imported from LiveJournal. Many of the WordPress blogs that I have seen are very narrow, but there are a few "flexible width" layouts in which you might have more room with which to work. There is also a layout designed almost as simply as a photo slideshow.

Please let me know if you do try it out; I will add you to my "Blog Roll" (that is Blog-ese for "Friends List," I guess).
