Times are changing I guess. Remember when almost 20 years ago we ran into a kind of RPF on FOBS and how like 99 percent of us were "eww"? Now if you say that you're dogpiled by 99 percent of people in fandom, LOL.
Although, it's not too new, this objectification. I wouldn't exactly go around saying "I'd blow him," but I've probably said "come to mama" or "I wouldn't kick him out of bed for eating crackers."
"I wouldn't kick him out of bed for eating crackers."
haha!
I like that.
Like everything else, objectification is much more visible now since pictures and social media are everywhere. At least RPF can be creative. Just saying "You need to fuck him now" in various ways/positions is objectifying in a different way.
And before anyone says women need to exhibit sexual lust too and I'm anti-feminist if I don't like it, feminism does not mean act toward men the way men act toward women.
And I just realized this icon of the Doctor is a bit objectifying. LOL But in context of the episode, Smith & Jones, it's fine. The Doctor didn't realize it, but he was being a flirt with Martha. "Cheap tricks."
