i think it's likely to come around. it seems unavoidable as a topic to discuss.
theorists (maybe conspiracy ones who knows ...) are mumbling today that perhaps it was a McCain strategy to force the debate topic from Foreign Policy to the Economy so that he starts with his weakest subject and ends with his strongest (and perhaps looks relevant in the process). If true though, I'm not sure that's a very sound strategy. I also think he's trying to use this to get the VP debate delayed or canceled. Especially since Palin seems to have stumbled her way through an interview with Katie Couric (!)
