It's a very difficult predicament there. There's a lot of pressure on religious people to marry individuals from their same faith. It can be hard.
I'm on (what I presume, though I can't really know for sure based on your post alone) the flip side of that situation. I'm Christian. Andrew's aetheist. Some would tell me not to be involved with a man who doesn't share my beliefs, but I say that's ridiculous. What? God doesn't love him because he's aetheist? That would have to mean that I have more love and compassion for Andrew than God does...which is in direct conflict with the whole philosphy revolving around God's unconditional love.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, tell those people to shut up.
i just wish that i could have someone explain that to him, he thinks that if he were to marry outside of his religion, or with someone who doesn't have the same view then it would be hypocrisy.
