My grandmother gets the same rash every year when the temperature changes. She hates it. Avon makes a moisture cream (not lotion) that she swears buy. Comes in a little tub (and I do mean little) but you don't need much at all when you put it on.

Oh, and a nasty throat/ear thing is going around right now, I have it to, only they called mine a "really bad cold."
