I also have no idea what to do for my 30th birthday. I feel like I should make it a big deal and do something fun and Dave & Busters is still TOTALLY on the table. But we have to go a long way for D&B and on a Saturday night with football playoffs, will I get to play all the games I want? Probably not.

I had an enormous birthday party for myself on my 30th - I invited all types of friends...church, work, highschool, college, gradschool, exgirlfriends, everyone. I had no expectation of gifts, but asked that everyone bring a snack to share - and be open to meeting some awesome people! It was so much fun...I still hear about how neat it was to be so....transparent and invite everyone.
On my 31st, I held an "I Like You" party - and invited 10 friends and asked THEM to invite ONE friend each...one person that they like. From that three off-shoots of fun friends began for others....and I met HuggingKim, one of my closest friends today! Too fun!
