I've really avoided politics for a long time and felt much the better for it.  I'm still ragingly liberal and we all know it so why do I have to consistently advocate for my perspective when I really don't think our political system is at all effective and my life will just go on going on?

What would be really great is if this somehow made jobs start offering other perks like flex time, extra vacation time, etc.

I'm currently doing the COBRA thing since getting laid off last June. I think my subsidy runs out in a month or two and then it pops back up to $7,569,203 a month for my insurance. With my health history, I really can't be without insurance so I've been thinking I'm going to have to go get a real job and stop trying to make this real estate thing work. It would be really great if I didn't have to do that.
