last night could have been better. i behaved like a bitch. and he behaved unknowingly, thus my bitch attitude. but it happens. and i slept well. and i hope he got to sleep too. i'm exhausted, though.

so anyway, here's something!

recommend to me:

1. a movie.
2. a book.
3. a musical artist, song, or album.
4. a livejournal user not on my friends

1. The Cotton Club
Underrated piece of musical cinema.

2. Paul Auster: "THE NEW YORK TRILOGY"
I love the way Paul Auster writes. The first time I read it I only liked the middle part, but I've come to love the other two totally and entirely. His writing is, in a beautiful way, terribly confusing. I guess I love confusing ways to write since I live in the illusion of understanding what the author's saying, or at least understanding something.

3. The Cyndi Lauper album "Sisters of Avalon", Amanda Ghost's self-titled album, Martina Topley Bird (This is more organic than anything... Really organic.)

4. shmivejournal, his entries are rather amusing.

i think i am going to have to steal this, woman. my recommendations are gonna suck tho cause i idolize american trash culture.

1. uhhh...repulsion. it's this old b&w movie about a french girl that slowly goes crazy. it's strange...but i like that kinda shit.

2. 100 yrs of solitude ...don't know if u ever read that or not, prolly have though. if not...you are missing out

3. eh...im drawing a blank

4. i find orbitalocularit's journal pretty entertaining. but once again, im a trashy hoe, i would.

How did you ever et through 100 years of solitude? I've been trying on and off for weeks. Does it pick up at any time?

i don't know if it picks up as you say, but i was hooked from the first page. soo...i dunno. ::shrug:: i finished it in like a week. guess if you don't like what you've read so far there's no point in reading the rest...unless you have to for like school or something.
