Christ. I've been growing my finger nails for a while, with a few setbacks, but last night I chewed them all to hell and it hurts to type today. Booo. I am awesome at creating my own problems!

Not awesome: Land of the Lost. We rented it last night, absolutely terrible. TERRIBLE. Will Ferrell has come a long way from Anchorman and Old ( Read more... )

I usually don't bother with my birthday 'cause it's a week before Christmas and my friends are rather unevenly divided between Toronto and Niagara. It sucks!

I'm sure your living room looks fantastic!

I get that! I can only imagine what a near-Christmas birthday must be like in this age of divorced parents and weird families - Andrew & I spend practically the whole month attempting to visit all of our crazy families!

Ladies' night soon so you can see for yourself, it's fun! I like to switch things up occasionally.

Try being born 9 months after Christmas. There isn't a day that week that I don't know someone else with a birthday, most notably Sarah, being born the day after me :) Oh, and my cousin & deceased grandfather were both born on Sept. 13, so combined family birthday dinner was always closer to that date than my birthday.

But yes, take advantage of a Saturday birthday. Although I'll be on a flight home from Vegas so I won't be able to join you.

Also - you're so young, dammit!

Thanks for hosting the party - I had a wicked time.

We need more smart people like you at University instead of all these dumb rich kinds who keep telling me that immigrant life in Toronto "isn't realistic" or that representations of asshole cops in Montreal "wouldn't happen in real life"!!! You should just steal all the money from OSAP and go do whatever you want at school. You would excel and your Profs would love that you're actually there because you want to be and not because mom and dad forced you to go.
