tonight i went to chipotle dressed up as a burrito. i was rewarded with a free, well, actual burrito. i thought this was a joke at first. but i'm so very glad it turned out to be the real deal. who WOULDN'T dress up like a huge human entree in order to get free take out?

He is training to become a child actor, and his signature line at the moment is "Mmm, I looooove Skippy Peanut Butter!"

He has a more original laugh than I do, and he's 6.

the iron and wine/calexico show was really good, though really looooooooooooong. i hadn't really listened to much calexico before, though i liked what i had heard. but i enjoyed them mucho, and iron and wine delivered as anticipated. ugh, iron and wine songs make me want to be old and married and maybe southern, and possibly dying. an ( Read more... )

I'm going to be the giant image of my own head for Halloween.

There are always people (mmm...sketchy people) in front of our house across the street at the bus stop. I like on University and 4th Ave, to give you a little mental picture here. I don't really think most of them are waiting for a bus. Anyway, they do eccentric and very entertaining things often, so we like to sit on the balcony and watch. ( Read more... )
