just wondering
does anybody ever miss me when i don't write for months at a time? i should write more. so i guess its time for a news update for the few yet devoted readers.
two weeks ago, maybe three, i had a seizure whilst driving and got in a bit of a car accident. loving amy did wonders in getting carol to me and calling the ambulance and such. since then it has been this rush to get me closer to school...whose rush it started out as and whose rush it is now i couldn't tell you. but we found a place in downtown staunton on east beverly street...or just beverly street, i am not sure where it transitions. carol likes the address: 215 E. Beverly St. Apt. 1.
Its really quite beautiful. But with beauty comes compromise. I am going to check on a loan from the bank to be able to pay all of the deposits and first month and last month at the place we're at, get everything transferred over and get this place cleaned as well as probably renting a moving truck. It should be about 3000 dollars...2500 if she drops the pet deposit. Why would she consider dropping the pet deposit you ask?
Because once again we are getting rid of Louie. But for real this time because there is no grass outside teh apartment, hardwood floors, and a smaller place. If we felt bad about him not having enough space to run before, there is no way we could keep him there in good conscience. Hopefully the woman who wanted him before and allowed visitations will still want him.
I am coming home for a few days over spring break because I have a neurologist appointment on the 28th of February at 6:45am. I am bringing Carol because she wants to hear first hand all my neurologist has to say because I don't take my seizures serious enough.
The landlady said there should be no reason we don't get the place, unless my mom or carol have bad credit. problem there is that while my mom has excellent credit, carol has bad credit. hopefully it will even out. how else can she build good credit? We are going to give this apartment our thirty days notice as soon as we get a move in date and it should be around April 1st. I would like to get into the new place before we are kicked out of the old place just so we can clean well without all the furniture and animal hair everwhere. yes we are also allowing andrew and gary to take in annie, our stray cat we took in. this leaves us with one cat. I think that would suit us well. We plan on staying there a very long time...possibly at least.
My computer is broken and it needs to be sent back in to be fixed and i will probably end up getting a new computer...laptop this time which would be very nice and space efficient. I hope the bedroom is bigger than I thought it was. Everything seems so small to me when its empty. If there is any other relevant news I am forgetting it currently.
I'll post pictures when I can because of course I am obsessed with the place. I don't know if Carol is..in fact I'm pretty sure she's not and that she is just trying to be excited for me.
