i'm worried about gus. he's been clucking all night like a tiny chicken and i'm afraid things might be going a bit awry. it's hard with hamsters because there's never really anything you can do. it's not like cats and dogs where people build their whole professions around making sure they last. there's not anywhere i can take him or anything i can ( Read more... )

And as far as The Ring goes...I saw it a few months ago and it really f'd me up. First movie since Poltergeist to actually scare me.

Goodstuff.

hey jon, nice to meet.

i can remember having a mild infatuation with poltergeist in junior high. for some reason i thought it was hilarious. but now? now i go to class and make myself watch movies i know i'll regret because if everyone else can handle it, i can handle it, i'm an adult and i know the difference between reality and fiction, and if i have to sit in my apartment tense and paranoid, i will do that, and if i feel unhappy about sleeping alone, so be it, because I AM AN ADULT. I AM NOT AFRAID OF MOVIES.

i can't believe it's a week and a half later and i'm still revisiting.

Last week I spent a day at work looking at pictures of "real ghosts" on the internet. Then I went home. And turned on every light and the TV and the stereo.

Nothing used to scare me. It's weird. Maybe I am getting old.
