i just took my nastysick self to the grocery to buy pasta and the guy behind me struck up a conversation (late fifties, heavy set, light-skinned and greying). he graduated from my college in the mid 70s and has a brother who writes screenplays. he could maybe put me in touch with someone, he says. he seems genuine ( Read more... )

don't i know it! at least most of them are fairly transparent, grinding themselves against the libary floor and the like. it's the not knowing who you can trust that really gets me... even the men who seem genuine can have ulterior motives. sneaky bastards.
