it isn't- though now that i have seen how productive and creative you are while in school, i feel a little intimdated. i do have a little bit of an idea, though. i still don't know how to knit. leanne was going to teach me but didn't have the time. my friend alanna had a radical knitting circle when she lived in portland. perhaps the three of us could get together and knit and talk about literature and philosophy and politics and feminism and drink tea or whiskey, whatever suits us at the time....
p.s. i really like your geometric bracelets. i think i will order one or buy one off of you.
we should totally do that!! knitting seems complicated at first but really isn't, i could teach you no problem. so exciting! i'll bring the tea cookies.
also, don't be intimidated... sewing and knitting was what i did during school to relieve stress when i couldn't justify leaving the house. the website is what i've been doing since i graduated, so it's not like i'm doing everything at once. that was the thing that i resented the most about school -- i was so busy doing what was necessary to get the grades that i became, in a sense, creatively constipated. i love literature and writing but it's so cerebral and i really NEED to do something with my hands to expend the physical energy that doesn't get used up when you're just sitting around thinking or reading.
let me know what colors you'd like on a bracelet! i've got pretty much anything you can think of.
congratulations! honestly, i haven't even started the things i want to trade with you. i was in a huge creativity drought, but lately i've been in a sewing marathon. i'll let you know when i've made you some stuff. it doesn't even have to be a trade anymore, i will straight up give it/them to you.
