i wonder just what constitutes sex offender status....

i tried to do some research on this and the details are a bit sketchy. however, what i've gathered is that all of the sex offenders have been convicted of some sort of sexual assault, and that only the ones deemed "high risk" or "serious risk" are required to register publicly. you can view a record of full name, finger prints, photo and address through the police department or sometimes at local fairs, where they've set up a booth. before you can, though, you have to sign a document saying you won't use the information to commit a crime against the offenders you view.

my last final for this quarter is a week from thursday, then i have sometime off, like a week and a half. let's get crafty.

ohh absolutely! lately i have been thinking about starting a tea cup collection and a one-saturday-a-month tea, cookies, and craft extravaganza at my apartment. my dining room table has inserts and it gets really, really big!

SO i looked up my zip code and there were 78 i think. then i looked up my new zip code and there were 46 (2 serious).

ANYWAYS, being the protective older sister that i am, i decided to figure out how safe my syblings in arizona are. so i checked out www.azsexoffender.com. in our zip code (85018), there were only six rated as intermediate or high risk, none in any other categories. but you wanna hear the weirdest part? YOU CAN SEE THEIR PICTURES! eww its totally gross seeing these old gross dirty men. it makes you wanna go vandalize their house. or at least it makes me want to.

brookes and i are going to the police station this weekend to look at pictures! they make you sign a paper though saying you won't try to mess 'em up. hmph.
