This is a side of you that I do not see often enough, Emily...you're a much more compassionate and loving person than you would style yourself to be most of the time, and it pains me to know that this whole situation causes you so much pain. I just want you to know, I am here to offer whatever kind of support I can and I do indeed love you...if only in some inexplicable blood-related way. :-)
