( Personality ) When Jun is first introduced, you meet this energetic and impatient blond. He talks rather quickly, trying not to miss a beat in his words and nor does he want to waste any time in one spot. You'll probably have a problem asking him to repeat himself or slow down, nevermind the fact if he asked you a question he'll just answer himself the second after. But if you've grown up with someone like him- then you are more than used to it. As if that wasn't enough, he's also very easily distracted, talking about one thing and suddenly something catches his attention and he's onto that, completely neglecting his topic before. Till he remembers or tries to. Because of his constant rushing and impatience, he often forgets things too, remembering at the last second if he's lucky. Once Jun is sure of something, he'll stick by his reason, whether it's out of stubbornness or confidence, it's really hard to change this boy's mind. Despite his impatience and confidence, Jun can be generous, mostly and usually only for his close friends. He's willing to give up the chances of him being happy for his friend, as seen in the beginning when he insists the Professor at least give the Protagonist a Pokemon if not them both.
Cause as seen, sometimes Jun's thinking is just quick thinking and not much thinking further of the consequences and dangers of happening. Not thinking things through or being patient enough just calls for dangers or some kind of trouble, so someone to watch out and keep an eye on for this is likely needed from time to time. That doesn't mean to say Jun won't learn a lesson from this mistakes, even if his personality won't change completely, he can learn something of it. But man can he be headstrong and reckless. While he is reckless, he isn't completely an idiot or stupid, he will study up on important information when it comes to Pokemon and battling. He'll even go as to memorize matters of import, long as they mean something to him- he'll be sure to remember it. Unfortunately, his patience only lasts long enough for certain things, such as training his Pokemon and taking time to study, but otherwise he'll simply rush rush rush. It's so bad he always seems to run into the Protagonist, rushing so quickly to not pay attention to where he's going specifically in front of him. Thankfully overtime he learns to not do this every single time he meets with you, again ever so slowly fixing some aspects!
Compared to himself in Diamond and Pearl, Jun really went out in his determination to toughen out his team by evolving a few he never did in the other games. He really involves himself into going the extra mile to prove his worth and how strong he can get by proving his strength. He makes himself a tough competitor unlike his self in Pearl/Diamond who was actually weaker. Though when Jun is given responsibility, as in something he should go out of his way to accomplish, he will see to it (especially if it's for someone he should repay.) If some evil deed is being done, Jun will try his best to help any bad and evil come to an end. As seen, there is a point in time where Jun does lose to a Galactic team member. It crushes his determined energetic heart. But not just that alone, it helps him realize something. He comes to understanding that him becoming tougher, it's not about winning or losing anymore. Seeing a Pokemon suffer, it makes him want to become stronger, not enough to be the most powerful Trainer ever. It takes honest effort, and a determined heart. It's with those thoughts and new realization that changes Jun, at least with his great desire of being Champion.
Jun becomes more realistic, mature and serious, but of course only slightly. He still retains most of his slightly childish self, and if anything his confidence in his ability only appears to get stronger the more he trains and toughens. If that isn't enough, Jun is more than happy to boast about how strong and cool his team is. He'll show them off without a moment of hesitation, he is all the more proud of his team and while they may be embarrassed by him sometimes it's never the other way around. All the same, Jun isn't simply reckless and impatient, he has a soft side when it comes to certain points. Such as with his Pokemon, he enjoys spending time with them and it would break at him to be separated by them or if they were to get harmed greatly. The same goes for his close friends, he'll worry over their safety if time comes down to it. To put in short words, there's more to Jun than what appears.
