This is part of a post-"Journey's End" novel-length story I am writing -- Lord help me, I've never done it before and I have no idea what I am doing, and oh god, not *another* JE post-ep -- and I am almost certain it's going to have to be cut, in a 'kill your darlings' sort of way. I'm here on a rec from wendelah, because of your X-Files fic, but then I saw your avvie... and then I read this... and...

Oh this is just fantastic and absolutely a bit heartbreaking. I'm still not over the finale, obviously. Brava, though. Really marvelous and totally in character as far as I'm concerned. Thank you!

I'm not over the finale either. Hence me writing 50,000 words of post-Journey's End fic in the time after I come home from work every night. *g*

There have been some completely amazing stories after the finale, haven't there? So many I really wished I had written because they were so good. I keep hoping I won't be whatever the DW equivalent of jossed is.

Thanks for saying such nice things about this snippet though.
