Yeah, I quit going to the Drawing Board years ago. Always wondered why they didn't have a Boys header, either....
I drew Marshal Law once, and a bunch of folks got skeeved out because he wore leather fetish gear. Well, he DOES...and what that had to do with the viewers, I still don't know.
I know exactly where the double standard comes from.
Keep in mind before i start im not saying this is neccesarily true, or correct, but here's the perception (from the straight guys point of view).
Take a male hero whos always been presented as straight-Batman, Superman, whatever.
A straight guy looks at them and thinks "hes straight-he would never mess around with another guy, ever."
You take a female superhero, and the guy thinks she COULD mess around with a woman, even if shes only been presented as straight.
Because theres this belief (by straight men)-that every woman is capable of a same sex attraction. But if youre a straight guy, you would NEVER do that shit.
yeah, I think they also view men making out/homosexuality in general as more taboo and dirty that women making out/lesbianism.
It's a super shitty double standard because there are plenty of straight women who do not want to make out with other women and also plenty of bisexual men who are afraid to admit it because of the stigma and the reaction they would receive.

I would have felt fine if they changed the girls section to "sexy" or something. A little more all inclusive.

Is it weird that I actually think of some of these pairings as kind of canon? XD
