does the essay count? or do all essays count at MA level?

yeh, its 50% of one module.

That sucks. At Nottingham all that happens is you lose 5% for every day you don't hand it in past the deadline. Which is bad enough.

Of course, maybe things are different when you get to Masters level.

no its the same for undergrads and post grads here. Actually undergrads get it cut to 40% They have a new electronic system which I think Nazis it up a bit.

Lampeter was 10% off up to a week late, and any later = fail. Although I could easily have blagged out of being 6 minutes late there,
