My observation has been that one always feel as though one is finally growing up. It's just that the ways in which one notices this change with time.

the feeling of growing up comes in spurts i find....every now and then i raise the bar (without meaning to) of what I expect from myself. Like you, I've also had a recent bar-raising growth-spurt, and I'm not quite sure what to make of it. It's inconvenient, change is...:)
