I learned that my professors are human. I learned that they get hurt just like we do. I learned that my Professor can't repaint his house because his partner painted the interior of their house. His partner is dead. I learned that he cannot remove pictures of his deceased lover to make room for photos of his new one because he thinks it is rude. He

He's a funny guy. He tried to make a joke about it. He said "I can't paint my house because my deceased partner was the one who picked the colors and painted it. It's a weird combination of Sea green and purple which shouldn't work but it does." Then he added: "I also can't get rid of the old partner's photos and replace them with the new partner's photo's because it just seems rude. I mean, I know he's not going to possess me in my dreams and say ' Martin how DARE you remove my picture' but it doesn't make it any easier."
