Tap.
Tap.
Tap-Tap.
Tap-Tap-Tap.

Morgan kept tapping his desk with his fingers. Every ten minutes he took a pen drummed the pencil cup for a while. He was too wrapped up in his own thoughts to notice that Prentiss was standing right behind him. Until she whacked him on the head with a folder.

“Snap out of it, Romeo.”
“That hurt!”
“And you’ve been doing that drum solo for the last hour. One more tap and I’ll have to explain to people how I was cleaning my gun and accidentally shot you.”
“There’s thirty minutes till the end of the shift, the paperwork’s not worth it.”
“Don’t count on it….” Prentiss sat down on the edge of Morgan’s desk. “And they haven’t been gone that long.”
“They have!” He complained and crossed his arms across his chest. “It’s a simple consultation gig. Rossi is the grandpa of all profilers and Reid is a frigging genius, how long can it take?”
“It takes as long as it takes. Garcia and J.J. are going for few drinks, are you coming?”
“I gotta feed Clooney.”
“You said you left him with your neighbour, I think he can handle him for few more hours.”

Morgan checked his cell phone again. No new messages.
“Fine. Two drinks, then Clooney.”

-----------------------------------------------------

Clooney had headed straight to his own little cubby-hole in the laundry room when they had come home. He yawned and stretched, and went to sleep.

“That’s right, leave me alone. Everyone else does.” Morgan complained faintly. “My brainiac boyfriend goes on a gig with wrinkly old geezer, Prentiss hooks up with some fitnessinstructor, J.J. has to meet her no-we’re-just-friends-no-really guy, and even Garcia has a cybersex-session with Kevin. Everyone’s getting some except me. And Rossi.” Morgan ignored the fact that Clooney was fast asleep and continued his rant.
“But he’s a totally different. I got a steady thing and I’m living with a genius, I’m not supposed to be alone, current company excluded of course. And Rossi doesn’t really even count, he doesn’t do relationships, he goes through a things-and-people-to-do-list.”

Clooney yawned in his sleep.

“What? You don’t wanna listen to me either? Fine, keep snoring.”

Morgan went to the kitchen and pulled a beer from the fridge. The list of people he could call and vent his frustrations was getting very short. Finally he picked up the phone and dialled his mother’s number.

“Hello?”
“Mom? It’s me.”
“Hey, honey. What’s wrong?”
“Nothing’s wrong. Why do you ask?”
“You don’t usually call in the middle of the week without a reason. How’s Reid?”
“On a job.”
“Too bad. Tell him I said Hi.”
“I’ll tell him.”
“I would love to talk with you but I was on my way out when you called.”
“Where are you going?”
“I have a date.”
“You too?”
“What?”
“Nothing….”
“I need to go, call me later.”
“Sure, mom.”
“Bye bye.” She had hung up before Morgan had time to answer.

“Great, just great….” He murmured. He took his beer and slouched down to the couch. As if to underline his mood, something hard and sharp was pressing into his rear end. He reached between the cushions and pulled out a small dictation recorder. Morgan snapped one of the buttons and Reid’s voice started to flow from the tiny speaker.

“-emerging consensus that personality disorders, like personality traits in the normal range, incorporate a mixture of more acute dysfunctional behaviours that resolve in relatively short periods, and maladaptive temperamental traits that are relatively more stable. Non-categorical schemes may rate individuals via a profile across different dimensions of personality that are not seen as cut off from normal personality variation….. Note to myself: Remember to check the dog food situation, dry kibble is running low. Other disorders may involve other attributes of human functioning-”

Morgan recognised the speech immediately. They were Reid’s notes for the lecture he had given to the new recruits few weeks before. He looked down and almost laughed. Reid had been gone way too long if the sound of his voice could make Morgan go hard. He looked around. Clooney was sleeping and there was nobody else around. For some reason that didn’t stop him from feeling like a total pervert.

He pulled his pants and his shirt off, laid down to a comfy position and clicked the recorder on. Reid’s psychobabble washed over him, letting his imagination take over. He started stroking himself in a brisk pace. He remembered vividly what they had done on the same couch few weeks ago and the memories gave more fuel to his flames. He had bend over the backrest, hanging on while Reid filled him from behind. Morgan brought his other hand to his mouth and licked his fingers, getting them wet with his saliva. He pulled the digits out and reached down to run them between his legs, aiming for his entrance. He circled around the opening, imagining they were Reid’s long nimble fingers. One finger dipped in, followed by another.

His orgasm was so intense he didn’t hear the sound of the door. When he started to recover he noticed a long thing figure leaning against the doorframe. An overnight bag was on the floor next to him.

“Babe, I got a really good explanation.” Morgan stammered and tried to wipe the sticky stains off his abs.

Reid just looked at him squirm. Finally he took the voice recorder from the coffee table and snapped it off.

“I can’t leave you alone for one day, can I?”
