"I really should be disappointed." Megan groaned.
David lifted his gaze from his computer screen. "What do you mean?"
"I mean that I work long hours with four men. I have hardly any time for personal
life. And out of those four men, two are together, and Don is what he is...."
"He is what?"
"Can you ever imagine Don in a working relationship?"
David though about it for a minute. "Not really."
"Exactly. And you..."
"What`s wrong with me?"
"Nothing. But dating you would be like dating my brother, no offence."
"Non taken."
"I just mean I know you too well to go to bed with you. No offence."
"Non taken. Again."
"Who`s offending who?"
Megan and David jumped up and turned to look at the intruder.
"Agent Edgerton, it`s been a while." Megan greeted.
"That`s true. What was going on here when I came in? It sounded pretty juicy."
"Well, it`s been a long day, I`m entitled to one rant per day. It started from Charlie
and Colby and just escalated."
"Charlie and Colby?"
David chuckled. "You really have been out of the loop, haven`t you..."
"They are together." Megan explained. "Well, actually they were together when
you were here during the McHugh case. We just didn`t know about it back then."
"So, the little professor is taken." Edgerton raised his eyebrow. "Pity, really."
"You too..." Megan groaned. "I`m starting to think this is an epidemic. All the men
around me start singing show tunes."
"Not a lifestyle choice, Reeves, just open mindedness for enjoyable experiences."
Edgerton grinned. "Can you say you`ve never been interested in co-workers?"
"Hmm..." Megan took a minute to consider. "Agent Christensen in Washington.
Tall. Blond. Butt like steel."
"What did you do about it?" David asked.
Megan gave him a crooked smile. "That`s for me to know and you to never
found out."
"Yeah, it`s one thing to be attracted, but actually... I mean I never would have
guessed. With Charlie it`s kinda easy to believe he would date guys, but
Colby? I never saw that coming. And the whole thing..."
"What thing?" Megan tilted her head, and looked like she was observing an
experiment.
"The guy on guy thing. That can`t be enjoyable."
"Believe me, it can be." Edgerton grinned. "Think about going to the gun range.
You have your gun. You know it, you know exactly how it react`s to your every
move. It`s a pleasure. Can you picture it?"
"Yeah..."
"Good. Now try to imagine going to the range with a borrowed gun. You know
the mechanism, how to operate it. It`s different, but just as good."
"Okay..." David stared at him and had no idea what to say.
"Did you have to bring guns into this too?" Megan sighed. "If we continue this
talk for few more minutes, I`ll attack that sixty-something guy who fills the
vending machines."
She turned and headed to the break room.
"Were you serious?"
"About what?"
"That you didn`t think sex with a man could be good?"
"I.. Well, I... I never really though about it. At all."
"Really?" Edgerton was looking more and more like an animal hunting it`s prey.
"When it comes to weaponry, it`s never good to limit yourself."
"Oh... well..." David turned to his desk leafing through papers, trying to look busy.
For a minute he thought Edgerton had left, but then he felt a presence behind
his back. Edgerton reached his hand around David and placed them on the table,
effectively locking him in place without even touching him.
"Think about it. I`ll be in town for few weeks." Edgerton pulled back and left.
David kept his eyes fixed on his desk, but his mind was in total turmoil. A quick
glance down confirmed what he already know.
He had gone hard from Edgerton`s voice.

"So, what did you wanna talk about?" Colby set his beer on the table and sat
down. The bar was only half full, and there was no need to yell to be heard.
"I was just curious about something." David paused. "Charlie`s keeping you in
short leash."
"Who told- "Colby panicked. "Oh, you meant figuratively. Why do you say that?"
"You came here a minute ago, and you`ve looked at your watch twice."
"Yeah, Charlie said that we could-" Colby turned bright red. "I`ll stay quiet now.
What did you want to talk about?"
"Actually, now that you mentioned Charlie... Did you...You had other guys before
him, right?"
"Yeah, but they don`t really count. None of them lasted longer than few nights."
"Okay. And when you and Charlie..."
"When me and Charlie what?"
"When you... do the deed."
"You mean when we have sex?"
"If you wanna say it like that. Is it... good?"
Colby`s face turned red again and he couldn`t look David in the eye. David looked
at him and wanted to laugh. "That good?"
"Yeah." Colby grinned. "Why do you wanna know about that?"
"I have this personal dilemma. I`m supposed to take my bi-annual fire arm test
next week,and I can`t go to the gun range without some very graphic mental
images."
