“Come on, let me in.” Morgan banged the door. “It was nothing!”
“Go away.”
“Let me in.”
“No.”
“I was just talking to her.”
“Right.”
“Let me in.”
“No.”

“You want me to camp all night here in the hallway?”
After a while Morgan heard the safety chain being pulled off. Reid opened
the door and gestured him to get in.

“Get to the point, I want to get some work done.”
“We have four days off, you don’t have any work to do.”
“Just because the team’s not working, you can’t assume I don’t have things
to do.”
“Right now your thing to do is avoiding the issue! Listen to me. We just
talked. That was all.”
“I can deal with running to your ex when we go out with the team. I can deal
with you talking with her. But I see no reason for you to go over to her the
minute I leave to go to the bathroom.”

“I didn’t go to her, she came to me!”
“That detail is really not very relevant in this matter.”
“Then what is? And you could have handled it a lot better.”
“What do you mean?”
“Think about it. You go to the bathroom, she comes to talk to me. When she
leaves you`ve left. Then J.J. comes to preach me and Garcia threatens to do
indescribably horrible things to me.”

“They did that?”
“They did. They saw you running out. I never knew two bubbly blonds could
be so scary.”
“Well obviously they were thinking the same thing I was.”
“Hey, I`ve gone from person to person in the past but not like that. I don’t
cheat.”
“The person who knows you best seems to think you do.”
“My data queen got mad because it was about you.”

“Why is that different?”
“Because you’re you. They worry about you, no matter what’s going on. Did
you see the looks I got from them when we ran into Becky?”
“I did see that. And I can’t say why they gave you looks but I can tell you
why I did.”
“Well, tell me, because I have no idea what that was about.”
“You called me a `co-worker`.”

“So?”
“The same way you called all the others `co-workers`. I understand that we
have to behave when we’re working, but we were in the middle of a restaurant!”
“What? You thought I left that out on purpose so I could get into her pants again?
I’m just so used to introducing you as `Doctor Reid` that I didn’t remember. It
was an honest mistake!”

“How can you make that mistake when you saw the look on her face? Or did
you even notice it?”
“What look?”
“Like I wasn’t even there. I was standing right next to you and she looked like
I wasn’t there.”
“You don’t know her and you probably wont ever even meet her again. Why
do you care how she looks at you?”
“Because it’s always the same look, people just change.” Reid paused to
sniff. “They probably have a point.”

“What point?”
“We’re a pretty mismatched couple. Even if they know where together, they
give me that look and focus on you.”
“You mean… Okay, listen. You don’t know those people and they don’t know
you. They can think what they want, because it doesn’t matter.” Morgan took
a step closer to Reid and pulled him closer carefully. “I don’t forget you`re there.”

“Don’t you?”
“No, Pretty boy. And you have my undivided attention any time you want.”
Reid relaxed and leaned against him. “You want to show me some attention
now?”

“Anytime you want.” Morgan grinned. Reid pressed him down on the couch
and sat down on his lap. Morgan pulled him close for a thorough kiss. “You
know what’s one of you best features?”

“Tell me.”
Morgan’s hands wondered down Reid’s back to caress his butt. “Guess.”
“My brain?”
“That too, but try again.”
“My sense of style?” Reid chuckled.
“No, and we’re gonna have to have a serious conversation about that in
the future. Try again.”
“Well… you always seem to be fiddling with my hair.”
“That’s on my list of favorites.”

“Okay, I give up.”
“I like that I can do this.” Morgan tightened his grip and got up from the couch,
carrying Reid in his arms. “That I can do this. That I’m the only one who gets to
do this.” He walked to the bedroom and lowered his cargo to the bed.

“You like me because I’m portable?” Reid laughed.
“I like the fact that I can touch you. That you let me do that.” Morgan pressed
him against the mattress and kissed him. “That you like it when I do that. And
that you do the same to me.”
“You know why I do that.”

“I know. I love you too, Pretty boy.”
“And if you ever talk to that slag again you’re in serious trouble.”
Morgan chuckled. “I’ll remember that.”
