I was thinking about music earlier, when I realized I could summarize gangsta rap in one sentence. I then amused myself by doing similar summaries for other styles of music. I thought I'd share some of the results with you

New country: Heard more on pop radio stations than on actual country music stations. ;)

Opera: I like noisy women and men in odd clothing, with a dash (ok, a JUG) of melodrama.

Yet another brilliant post. Here's a few more to add to the collection:

Psychobilly: I like the 50's, but prefer to raise hell instead of a family.

Early Punk: Everything sucks, so I'll assault your ears with three chords and a lot of distortion.

Oi: The only thing I love more than my Docs is using them to kick out some poor bastard's teeth.

Hardcore: The louder I scream, the more manly I appear.

Death rock: Live fast, die young (or at least pretend you have).

Death metal: I can spread nihilism better than you.

New Wave: Art school wouldn't have me, so I became a musician.

New Romantic: All I need is a synthesizer and women's clothing to get rich and laid.

Excellent! I can't decide if I like "hardcore" or death metal" better.
