thank you thank you! KxA isn't your OTP though, is it? but im glad that at least i got kureno's description -nearly- right...since in this fic, he and uo have met only twice so there really isn't any room for in-depth descriptions.. oh but thank you still! :)
Hm, my Kureno OTP is a bit hard to describe. A while back, I adored Shigure/Kureno, but in the past two months, I've just come to love Kureno and his interactions with other people. ^^ I claimed him on 100_situations. I've been writing him for about a year now; my other friends who are into Furuba have begun to make fun of my Kureno-obsession. ^^;;
No, I think your description of him - at least from Arisa's POV - was pretty dead on. I especially loved the part about his smile, how she focused on his real smile - the warmth of it - and not the sadness she kept seeing whenever he *tried* to smile. I definitely think *that's* what she would remember the most about him. (I kind of feel like she was intrigued by his clumsiness, but what roped her in was the first true smile he gave her.) ^^
Have you read chapter 127? Or are you keeping up with the English Furuba version?
I'm done with Volume 12 of the english furuba manga, still convincing my friend to buy the rest of it (cos god knows how long it'll take tokyopop to finish!). but i kinda know most of the spoilers already--especially the pair being made canon recently ;)
For Arisa's POV, I thought hard about which part of Kureno or their meeting had made a lasting impression for her--and it was definitely the smile, because it caught her quite off guard. I say, for Arisa, few things can actually surprise her. But Kureno's smile tugged somewhere deep, even though at first she saw the sadness lingering beneath. The clumsy part and her *rescuing* him was really entertaining-it amused and intrigued her, you're right :)
Can't wait for your Kureno fics again, if you're "pairing" him up with different characters. I'm much intrigued by his interactions with the other 2/3 of the Mabudachi boys. Cos, well Hatori is nearly like him; and Ayame..I'm curious how Aya *sees* him? ^^ Good luck!
This was gorgeous! I remember why I love the pairing so much. You described Uo just perfectly; I really admire that you could pack so much into so few words. Thanks for the read! ^__^
