I need to work on my memory skills. I bought a purse today, misplaced it, went to look for it in my car, and proceeded to lock my keys in my car. I was locked out of my apartment, so I ended up breaking in, which was unnervingly easy. The screen just popped open. Not too reassuring. I'm missing one red purse. Gah

It's because that really isn't what police are trained to handle unless there are either blood or bruses. Otherwise the lady could straight out deny any accusation and there wouldn't be anything that they could do. Sad thing it is. I know this first hand. : /

Actually police are supposed to at least check out any kind of welfare check, especially with children. Regardless of evidence, they are supposed to come at least speak with her.
