Hello! This isn't so much a comment on your post as a general comment, haha. I need fandom friends to talk Sherlock with sometimes! I've been so horrible at LJ (I've forgotten how to LJ!) but I've been meaning to tell you that I've been working slowly through your recs and reading the odd piece here and there, and meant to thank you for providing so many, haha! Coming into the fandom so late like this, it's hard to know where to even begin, where to find other rec lists, etc. So thanks

Hey you! I'm afraid I'm not terribly active around LJ anymore, so if you post something conversational and I don't notice, feel free to poke me. But I do still read a lot (almost exclusively through AO3) and offer up my recs lists over here. I made myself a costuming blog, so that takes about half of my content away from LJ. Hearing that the recs lists are useful, especially for someone still relatively new to the fandom, is really heart warming

I'm not terribly active myself, haha! No worries! Oh goodness, so sorry about the word slips in that fic! (Btw, I don't normally do WIPs either - too many bad experiences with unfinished ones, ugh! So, thanks for giving it a start, at least! It's finished now!) I did have a beta, specifically for that, and evidently she missed a lot. She's not my beta any more regardless, so I could do with the occasional eagle-eye. I don't like having a beta in the sense of having someone to argue with me over plot points and as an English teacher, my grammar is pretty solid, but I DO have missing words and occasional brain-fart typos (like it vs is, etc - so annoying!) and I find them hugely embarrassing! I'm going to go back and read that first chapter again and scan it hard for mistakes. Sorry about that
