When there is an earthquake reported in .UK, the number of hits on their site goes from about 50 a week to 500 a minute. Which makes capacity-planning 'interesting'.
I remember a "Yerfquake" about 3 years ago, it must have been about 2 to 3 am. It shook the place quite a lot, I heard it comming and leaving. I rang a friend some 30 miles away that thought that a plane had crashed near by. The playback on the cctv was interesting to say the least.
