I'm still getting emails from my banned account on Ukfur.org i've been trying to find a way to contact anyone there instructing them to delete it as per principle 6 of the data protection act.
Report them to various spam RBL's (spamcop etc) every time you receive one. I doubt it'll do any good, but this is unsolicited email you can't stop...
I use my own mail service so I'd probably just filter their IP(s), hopefully their mail system will eventually get the message. Or at least it'd incur a time cost upon each delivery attempt. I do that for pseudo-legitimate marketing companies from time to time (the sort of barely-legal lead-generating outfits who buy in marketing lists and try to sell me crap on behalf of all-above-board high street names). I ban their whole networks.
Or (if possible) you could be evil, accept the message but route it onto one of their admins until they get sick of it! Though it looks like they implement a hard-SPF fail so that may backfire.
Short version: I disagreed with the mods and some of them had a personal grudge apparently.
Long version; Rapido was organising a tv crew to come to one of the meets, I said this was a bad idea(tm), he was a mod at the time so deleted my post. I complained to the mods and the person that responded was Rapido. He told me to shut up pretty much and that I was wrong. I complained to the mods again and got banned for spamming the reporting system with too many requests.
Ah, I see. Yes, irritation with the mods was one of the many reasons I stopped using the forum a couple of years back. I can't say I'm surprised that little seems to have changed. I agree with you too, I think it would be a bad idea also.
Ah Rapido! If there ever was a more irritating person that managed to rub just about EVERYONE up the wrong way. How well did the TV event work out? I will assume 'not well'.
Oh and note, I got on with him OK IRL, but on reflection the guy had some serious issues when it came to management and dealing with people. Not though that I also personally think that the current LF crew is any better.
Report them to various companies the keep a list of domains/ip's etc that spam email out. No doubt once ukfur gets put onto the black lists which ISP's take into they'll find that they're email will be blocked quite a bit.
They really should have a contact email for this anyways so that anyone that did get banned could get their account deleted including email contact details so that you won't be bothered by them anymore.
Since they have not given an option for this to happen, you can only do is to report which will no doubt get that domain put onto said spam blacklists.
Anyone on UKfur should really let the admins know of this issue as it's a bit unprofessional to not allow anyone that did get banned to not have their account deleted or to have email from the website to be stopped on request.
In past times I've solved spammer issues by setting up an alias-forward which essentially says "if [sender=offender] then [rewrite-headers-and-forward-to-list-of-admins-of-offending-sender-domain/hosting-provider]When you're administering a few tens of thousands of email-addresses and you do this, the deluge of redirected messages tends to rapidly get the sender's attention

Is it your e-mail in your profile or set up with your account? I hardly go on there much other than to peruse the motors section but I still have mod powers so I can try and delete relevant bits for you. Failing that, I'll give Kyth and co. a kick to try and stop things.
edit:also, what was your username there, can't find "fionacat" in the list?
Found your account, had a look and there's nowt I can do, I've messaged Kyth & explained the problem, so either she can deal with it with admin rights or boot it further upwards to Myst. I'll chase the issue with her again in a few days if I don't hear anything back.
Edit: Just heard back from Kyth, she's disabled pretty much anything that *should* be able to send you notifications or messages, if you still have problems in a few days then message her via twitter (her @ name is the same as her forum username) or just drop me a line again.

If i try sign into a new account it does say the name is already in use so i've always guessed the account is still there...
