Forget Narnia...

You think that the Chronicals of Narnia was an awsome allegory by C.S. Lewis...try "Till We Have Faces" My hubby and I were just discussing this book. mainly that he needs to read it, and I thought I would suggest it to you. 'Til We Have Faces is my absolute favorite Lewis book. They did it for a play at Covenant while I was still in high school - one of the better acted of plays from the pre-Hallstrom (drama professor) era.

Much better than Narnia, and really really challenging, especially when I found myself identifying so well with Orual.
