So I was the head audio engineer on a CalArts halloween party. I'm mixing on a Yamaha M7CL, a $20,000 board with 2 Meyer Mica line arrays, approx. $150,000.00 and 6 self powered Meyer monitors, approx $30,000.00 and various microphones and cables ( Read more... )

I was there at that party...

My friend goes there, I don't (thank god)

all the people I saw there were just idiots!
did you see that tall guy with the like... "frill mohawk" ?

I saw no "artistic" people there, just drug addicts and idiots...

was that really andrew w.k.?

because I seriously had my doubts.

I remember when a bunch of people bum rushed the stage, so sorry that shit happened with you and "jason"

I left half way through that w.k. show though I just see my friend look at me and go COME ON and then see snippets of him jumping around in the pit

and then my girlfriend comes up to me and goes, "some guy just hit on me and tried to hold my hand" and I was like... dammit.... so I left

I'm very sorry to hear about beery, cokey, grossness on your cable. Please tell me you trashed them and billed the school. As for the steel deck.... frankly, I'm a little impressed!
