i totally understand your point about the welfare, having been there myself not so long ago. if i werent doing so well because of scholarships from my home state i'd be in your shoes. i too am losing interest in school. ive debated a semester off, and learning that they'll hold my financial aid for a semester is good news. i support you in your stance that it might be a good idea for you. if you do take the semester off good luck. my advice. do what you need to do to keep from getting apathetic. apathy fucking sucks. and let me know how that semester off works for you, i might have to do it myself to save my sanity.

hey, if you need to take a semester off, go for it. i took off a year and a half and it was the best thing i ever did. i did it for the same reasons you want to. there's nothing to restore your enthusiasm in education than being a wage slave for a while... ;)

anyway man look Im 23 years old and dont have my degree yet. Ill be 24 before I do. its hardly the end of the world if you dont get your degree by age 22.
