No. We just haven't had one in a while.

Is it hectic? My parents are teachers and I want to be one as well, but they've never spoken to me about their work.

Some years are more rowdy than others, as are some of the Houses, but ultimately it's good work. Outside of class, it's mostly correcting essays and that sort of thing. We get most of our work done in class.

It certainly does sound rewarding, though I will probably find myself attempting to calm the students. I'm not terribly fond of rowdiness.

Please scale back your usual behaviour once school has started again. I'm part of the faculty now, it's even less appropriate than from when I was a student.

It's been quiet--which I don't mind, of course--but I've been keeping myself busy working to save up some emergency funds.
